I'm looking at an 88model 30 foot Avion . How do I know if I'm getting a good deal? Anyone has one for sale in the 80s or 70s I'm in TX.

Hi, Tbeyer. Welcome to the forum!

Your question is answered by, "It depends".

Do you have any more information about the Avion?

As a general rule, a near-perfect Avion can be found in the $10K-$15K+ range, but are few and far between. If you don't mind doing your own work on an Avion, you can find decent ones for sale in the $5K-$10K range. Ours appears to have been a steal at $4K exactly 4 years ago. Wouldn't take less than $12K-$15K for it now.

Do you have any experience with RVs that would help you decide on the Avion?

Feel free to ask more questions. Lots of experience here on the forum.

We purchased a 1988 30P in June. My only regret was not being a part of this form before we bought it. There is power in knowledge before you buy.

You are at the right place here.

I bought a 1986 30P for $7000 in perfect condition back in August, I think I got a pretty good deal on it though.

Where are you in TX? I'm within Austin and if you are close or more importantly, if the Avion is close, I'd be happy to take a look at it.
