Greetings From Royal Oak, MI

Post by silverloaf »

We are Bob and Ruth. We purchased a 1988 Avion trailer 5 weeks ago. It is model 30-W. It was registered with the Avion Travelcade Club as Michigan Unit 14050.

Now in our late 60s, this is our 1st trailer and probably our last. Avion trailers are one-of-a kind. The design elements are truly amazing.

We are already hard at work in its restoration. The to-do list is long and somewhat daunting .The exterior shell and interior surface are in remarkably good condition. But many functional and structural components are in dire need of reconstruction or replacement.

We look forward to meeting you through this forum. Your stories are important and interesting to us. The more we learn, the less we know.

Have a blessed day.

Bob and Ruth

Hi Bob and Ruth and welcome to the Avion corner of the room.

Ask any questions you have, if one of us doesn't know the answer, we are eager to find out.

Would love the see some pictures and hear what you need to do to your trailer.
