Hello! New 1967 T-28 Owner!
Hello Everyone -
As of yesterday, I'm the latest owner of a 1967 T-28. It seems to be mostly complete, minus the gas furnace and original fridge, but otherwise everything is there and seems to work. It has decals from the Florida Unit of the Avion Travelcade Club, but there's a badge near the door from a dealership in Ohio.
One fun note - I hired an RV moving service to relocate it about 120 miles to my place from the previous owners home, and when we stopped halfway, the driver said, "Man, this thing tows nice! I think someone must have replaced the axles at some point; I don't think those were original in '67." It was fun to tell him that indeed the Smooth-Ride axles were original!
