Thanks for the invite, We are in the upper left corner of the US.
We pulled the hulk out of the brush up on Hood Canal three years ago. Payed the man after having him empty a couple garbage cans of beer cans from her.
Exterior- replaced rotted out and different styles of side running lights. None were on top. Replaced tail light s with all new old style. Removed and replaced a lot of rusted screw with pop rivets. Calked the bejesus out of all seams. Recently replaced axle,hubs brakes etc.. Recently heated scraped and re-coated roof after drowning Thanksgiving out on the coast. That was after doing all the roof seams with Alumibond tape soon after starting. That was scraped off also. About 18 months ago spent 100 hrs polishing. Polished up a couple big propane tanks the bride had to have. New overhead vents after removing the AC unit. ( Now thinking about a room unit in the closet???) Scrubbed the corrugated stock rock guard with purple simple green. Turned out pretty nice.

Interior- Water tank rusted out. Floor rotted through beneath. Floor was only 1/2". Tore out and replaced the worst throughout. Dried out well and and treated, Laid down two layers of 1/4" Iron ply. Wifey tiled floor with light yellow and white checkered patterned tile. Prior to tile scraped, sanded, and applied latex light yellow to walls. Took out a couple windows and restored. New plastic water tank and 12v electric pump. Re piped with hot water tank bypass. New Frig and toilet. Miscellaneous never ending wire replacement, and new outlet for Micro Wave. Front was gutted except for the rotted out tank and floor. Built new dinette old style patterned after friend Leif's 21 footer Avion. Gave Leif the old furnace, jazzed up that area and installed Wave 6 heater. Bride made curtains and had all cushions for gaucho and dinette/bed made and upholstered. Stock sinks were refinished. New goose neck faucet at kitchen.

Hulk has been over the Cascades a few times and made a trip looping down through Oregon up to Washington. About 1500 miles. No issues. Other than the Thanksgiving fiasco and our continued upgrading. Now I'm worried about the shell possibly coming away from the floor. Seems like a strange engineering design to me.
