Coming up soon, we get to take the Avion to a church retreat at Sky Ranch Cave Springs (our 3rd or 4th time to go there) http://skyranch.org/cavesprings/ and then the following weekend will be back to the Branson, MO area at The Wilderness Campground.

Looking forward to some relaxing times!!

(After that, will be in Oklahoma at Red Rock Canyon State Park, and again in Branson during the first week of December (PRAY FOR GOOD WEATHER!!!).

Might get another week scheduled in late September.... we'll see!

At Sky Ranch, having a great time with 220 other friends from our church!

Three RV'rs showed up.... there would have been several more if there were more accommodations. Every one of us, whether this year or on previous trip here, have suggested to the office personnel that they make more sites for RV's. One response, from obviously a non-RV'er, was, "Isn't it hard to socialize when you are in your RVs?" LOL
We had somewhere between 25 and 30 people sitting outside our campers last night, "not" socializing!

We'll keep working on them... who knows? Maybe eventually....!

A great time was had on both trips.

Got back yesterday afternoon from Branson and the Wilderness Campground. Although it was not as cool as I was hoping, we had a great extended weekend.

Met some new friends at Lindwedel Winery http://www.lindwedelwinery.com/..... not only did we meet the young lady behind the counter (a nice, beautiful accomplished ballerina and dancer.... invited us to be her guests at a show she performs in! https://www.branson.com/shows/illusionist-rick-thomas/), but as we were talking, a group of 8 women came in. Learned that this was a family of 7 girls and their 87-year-old mother, on their annual "girl's weekend". This mother also has 6 sons! We had a great time visiting with them, then joined them for dinner the next evening at the Keeter Center (part of the College of the Ozarks). We will be visiting them in Jefferson City, MO sometime ASAP.

This past weekend is a perfect example of how nice it is to go places and do things with the Avion...... we always meet new friends!
