Cabinet latches and struts

Post by KYAvion »

I saw this on Facebook and thought I'd share it here.

Cabinet latches by JR products. Part number 70325.

The button is apparently a little large, but can be trimmed easily with some sprue cutters. I imagine a razor blade would probably work too.

This is the locking mechanism in my coach:

A pull the knob kind of affair.

Thanks for the info.

That RV Designer H225 is actually what is in my 84 30R as well. I'm not sure if those other latches came earlier or later.

My 78 28J has a similar latch but dimensionally the hole is farther from the latch tongue than the 225. I bought them thinking they would work but alas they won’t. These use a steel spring and mine use only the plastic as a spring. Wish I could find the originals. I’d use the 225 but I’d have to move the fancy hardware underneath the pull handle and it would hit the cabinet door trim.
