JACK POSITION

Post by Tarnished »

Going to look at a '75 legrande 25 tomorrow. Is there a particular place that a jack should be placed
To check wheel bearings and axles?

I believe a 75 has the MorRyde suspension. My 1984 was retrofitted with the MorRyde suspension and there is a substantial metal plate that I use as a jack plate (pic attached). I checked this out with MorRyde and they said this jack point was fine to use. You can also check out info on the MorRyde suspension in the documentation forum.

You do NOT want to place a jack on the metal plates that move with the shear springs (rubber blocks to left of my jack point).
