Re: 34XB freshwater tank

Thanks for the suggestion about heaters. The prior owner was from Alaska and successfully camped in this coach at 20 below. I know that is tank top and shorts weather for those in Montana, Michigan, Mane and North Dakota but being that I was born and raised in SoCal I will avoid such weather. The pr...

Re: 34XB freshwater tank

Dear KYAvion, I am in total agreement with your thought about replacing the tank. I am hoping that the company near me (Inca Products in Adelanto, CA) can help. I plan to attempt to remove the old fresh water tank through the bottom of the trailer. I already have jacked up the Avion more and have it...

1989 34XB Main Awning (about 21')

My recent purchase of 1989 34XB understood that I'd need to do some fixing. I discovered that the main awning fabric was in bad shape. I ordered new SunWave Awning Fabric (SKU:62420 ASIN: B00D393944 Item ID: 27153984401666.) I had some experience replacing a 16' awning fabric on my previous 1995 Ter...

AVION at home. Upgraded converter/charger & installed 4 new T-105's and replaced both awning torsion springs as well as installed 2 @ 125 watt solar panels. If not for truck mounted front hitch this tight squeeze wouldn't be possible.

1989 34XB images of open belly pan.

I finally found/read the photo posting instructions. I hope this works.
Yikes! Discovered prior owner had used some sort of "Flex Seal" type stuff to fix leak on fresh H2O tank. Now it is beyond repair. I need to remove fresh tank.

Re: Tank supports

I am interested in how you went forward and what your decisions resulted in. In my limited uncovering of the belly of my Avion I see that the cross members (T type steel reinforcements from side to sidethat support the "chip board" plywood) are rusted a lot. I don't feel good about not re-...

Re: 34XB freshwater tank

1/11/18 Thanks for the response KYAvion. I will post some photos. (OOPS, just attempted but error stated file too large. I will look into adding images later.) I knew that the fresh water tank had a leak before I purchased it. I'm not afraid to try my hand at most fix-it projects thanks to YouTube. ...
