Re: Hitch jack removal help

Sometimes we're bound to fail. I give up. It must be welded but I can't see exactly where and don't want to damage the hitch or the jack itself.
Ordered the manual override handle from Barker.

Re: What is the best tow vehicle?

I like all of the above discussions. The one I adhere to is: Match the weight of the tow vehicle to the weight of the towed unit. It won't be exact of course but towing a 5000# unit, while do-able (In my case a Toyota 4 runner with a '77 Travelcader 26). Not good. Bought a Sequoia, 5200# vs 3600 on ...

Re: Winter camping

Are you guys nuts? Have you not heard of Florida?
That'll be my winter camping beginning around the 15th of Jan.
Until then I'll be snug as a bug in a rug, at home.
Merry Christmas all.

Re: Hitch jack removal help

Doesn't look to be any welds. Pouring PB Blaster into it and will try the floor jack tomorrow. There is what seems to be the bottom of the bushing showing in the above photos. If the jack doesn't work tomorrow I'll try grinding it off. Have I mentioned how much I love lying on my back working overhe...

Recently discovered that Apple doesn't have a picture reducer app.
A work around is to put the pic into an email to yourself, apple will automatically reduce it.
Once received it's in my folder in about 5 secs. This allows you to keep the original quality pic and have a pic to upload.
