Axle progress
Just wanted to show a progression of my axles. The one on the right is as it was when I removed it from the trailer. The center one has had the major rust knocked off before the rust treatment. The left one has been coated with the rust neutralizer which turns black when dry. No paint on it yet. 7EF...

Re: Looking for rear left (shower) inside skin
As has been said before shipping is a killer at least for where I am. You can try these folks, https://www.onlinemetals.com, they sell .040 anodized sheets and .063 I believe. Which your not going to want.
Even the .04 might be a bit thick for your use but it is anodized.

Re: Zip Dee awning
Thanks Paul, I will have to wait for the rain to stop here before I can get up there and put eyes on it. But from down below thats what I kind of see. Although from down low it looks like an aluminum piece is in the channel. But that could be totally wrong because I can’t see the top. I have a feeli...

Re: Axle hangers from Dexter
Call Dexter Technical Support and run it by them. Try 574-295-7888. Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm EST. Thanks Silverloaf, I called and talked to Jim at Dexter and he said that they will work fine. The set will work up to 6 1/4” inch spacing which is exactly what I have now. Which is what I was hoping for. Altho...

Re: Zip Dee awning
I appreciate that. It looks to me that it is just pressed into the upper channel. Although I’m not sure how that would hold up to the stress of unrolling and rolling it back up.

Zip Dee awning
Well I went to pull the awning out again to fix the upper mounts and the metal roller cover started to peel off the mount on the roof. How the heck do you get those two mated back up? It’s only on one side toward the front.

Axle hangers from Dexter
Well I just received my new suspension kit for hanging the leaf springs and it seems to be a smaller set than what I took off. According to Dexter I needed the light hanger assembly so that’s what I ordered. But the measurements are 5 3/4” between the Center hanger bushing centers and the ones I too...

Re: Leveling made easy but not cheap.
Hmm, I think we will have to disagree about bubble levels bing easier. I can’t see my bubble levels from the drivers seat to tell which side of the trailer needs to be raised and they won’t tell me by how much they need raised. Also the bubble levels won’t tell me which trailer spot is already the c...

Re: What plastic Avion parts do you need?
Jeff, I have been on a quest for the porch and front battery light lenses, (they’re the same lenses). They are no longer available anywhere that I can find. But I have come across some sources for other parts while looking for them, so that’s a good thing, kind of. If you have any of those available...

Re: Zip dee awning
I found a different source than the ones suggested and the pricing wasn’t even that bad, it’s https://woodlandtravelcenterstore.com/. I was able to purchase the front claw tube assembly with the claw and rivet to install it and the claw pin for the rear that’s missing. Everything with shipping was j...
