Re: Not mine.... if it was, it wouldn't be for sale!!!

Based on the ID tag, the “11” in the serial number shows that it is a C-11, the “9” at the beginning of the model number is the last digit of the year.... so 1969. From the pictures, that was one of the nicest I have seen. Now that you have it, I will be curious if it IS as nice as it looked. If so,...

Hi, Stanley.... welcome to the forum!

That is a beautiful1969 model C-11.

I remember seeing that one listed, and posted a mention of it in the For Sale section. That is an awesome camper!

Re: Replacing 18" fans with new Maxxairs

That makes for a really nice installation! And certainly nothing wrong with a little entrepreneurial enterprise!

Good luck, and thanks for helping fellow Avion owners..... not only with how-to instructions, but also as a source for materials so they don’t have to waste time reinventing the wheel .

Re: Northern Minnesota Winter camping.

That’s great to hear.

Do you still not have any issues with condensation inside the Avion? Does the dry heat coming from the 8” duct keep things dry?

And, what have you done at the windows to address heat loss/cold infiltration?

Re: 1987 34W - New 14" Roof Vent Lids.... an option

Hmmmmm. I sure didn't realize that there were others that were actually smaller than the ones I used. I am soooooo glad I mentioned the model number. I like to do that with stuff I mention because I like it when others do the same so I don't have to guess at the exact product that is used. I don't l...

Re: Help with year avion was made

Hi, Cassie. Welcome!

Is there not a serial number plate, maybe by the rear door? I think the serial number will identify the year, and the model (C10/C11).... I think tgg Hc at is a C10?

Re: Northern Minnesota Winter camping.

Seven years ago, we drove through northern Minnesota in mid October heading towards Hancock, MI to get our Avion. Beautiful area!
We have some friends here locally that spent 2 years in Duluth..... the wife of the couple says she cried every day..... hated the winters.
