One for the thread. Have enjoyed this one for many years. A lot of mowing and grading the drive way. The 4 cylinder engine is beautiful. The pto clutch clutch setup is not the best on these units from what I have read, but it has served me well.

Replacements may be available. Is the origional cast iron? If so the origional could be brazed back together and painted with high temp paint.

If the screws are only going into the shell and there is a void behind them you might try some toggle bolts.

A complete floor replacement can be done, but it's quite a job. Removed and replaced my entire floor on my 1968. Removed all interior cabinets, bathroom etc. Removed the floor and jacked the shell up with two t posts in the center of the trailer. Then I re installed the 3 layer floor with solid wood...

I also have an e2 hitch and have been very pleased with it. When putting on and removing the bars I leave the trailer attached to the ball and use the trailer jack to raise the trailer tongue and the rear of the truck. This takes tension off the bars and makes them easy to remove and install.

This is the converter that needs to be removed. Probably the correct term is transformer. If takes 120volt AC and converts it to 12volt DC.

Some are polarity sensitive some are not. Best to try and connect it properly to start with if possible. If it does not work switch the wires. In some circumstances it may do damage if wired incorrectly. The light strips I used had a diagram on the converter. Made it easy to determine polarity using...
