Re: Cooktop and SAM-1

Glad you found a SAM-1. The company closed its doors 3 years ago after the owner passed.

Re: Rear Floor replacement

There is, in fact, a production assembly sequence that moves from back to front. Any thing you attempt to remove will be trapped by whatever was installed ahead of it. in some cases, 1/2 the trailer's interior features will have to be removed to do it. Study carefully and what items are trapped by a...

I cut out a round aluminum disc and sealed it over the hole with exterior grade caulk. No issues in the 4 years since I did it.

Re: Roof unknown Connection

On our '88 30P, A factory foldable TV antenna was perched there. A handle was mounted in the ceiling so you could twist the antenna for better reception.

Nice feature at the time. Now? Not so much.

Re: Stub axles - like new after sandblasting

The lack of full depth might affect the desired shim count on each side of the hanger bracket. This, in turn, could impact the toe angle at the wheels. I recall the OEM shim distribution is 5 on the front side and 4 on the rear. Perhaps you can compensate by distributing shims to make up for the lac...
