Re: Super backup lights
I had an instance this weekend where your wheel well lights would have come in handy. You mind sharing a link to the lights you used? Those round ones in back look good too...have a link for them as well?

Another reason to have TPMS
I never thought about fire as a reason for TPMS, but it’s another good reason. I know when I had a tire tear apart on me, I never would have known I was running on only three tires if the driver next to me hadn’t signaled me. Now I use a TPMS every trip.

Re: Nice secluded spots at Hunting Island in SC
Yes, your trailer came with torsion axles. I replaced them on my prior 79 Airstream, which wasn’t that difficult of a job at all. You can read more about the angle of the torsion arm and possible implications here...https://inlandrv.com/dura-torque-axle-article/

Re: Nice secluded spots at Hunting Island in SC
You’re trailer looks great. Did you replace the torsion axles? It looks like you have a good amount of positive angle on the axles.

Re: Polar vortex right before trip on electric only heat
I added a new furnace to our trailer, and while it wasn’t plug and play, it wasn’t a horrible install either. viewtopic.php?f=8&t=130

Re: Polar vortex right before trip on electric only heat
A couple space heaters does pretty well in terms of maintaining an already warmed up trailer, but as you see they don’t do much for bringing a trailer up to a warm temp from frozen. That’s too bad about your furnace. Is it the original?

Re: Tank Drain Pipe Heaters
I run the heat pad around the black drain pipe pipe and the black tank pad heaters INSTEAD OF adding RV antifreeze to the black tank. I use our trailer routinely throughout the winter, so these heaters allow me to not have to worry about dumping the black tank or adding antifreeze to the tank betwee...

Re: windows leak
Hello Razorback, To date I have found several sources for window seals. No one dealer has all the parts. My windows seem to be Hehr 4900 series. Vintage Trailer Supply has provided the "Y" seal for the Jalousie faces. Interstate Metal(which you gave me) supplied the Glazing bead. KC at In...
