Re: Storage and insulation under the bed

I need to see you on slalom water skies. That’s my take away from your post. Please?

Here’s a link to that article: https://www.familyhandyman.com/list/stu ... -upgrades/

You have to watch the video to see glimpses of the interior.

The red looks like a vinyl wrap, they did a good job on it at least.

Re: my opinion, for what it's worth

To be fair or honest, whichever... my ‘64 Silver Streak is a modern office/design space that was my first resto-model. It looks nothing like the original and more a half hearted attempt at a Hoffman style space. The Class C motor home I redid was your typical gaudy RV visual treat from the design ch...

Re: Replacing exterior vinyl with Vintage Trailer Supply Product

Looks great Brad and a good feeling as well I know. I rub some silicone lube on mine every so often while conditioning my rubber seals around the trailer, keeps it looking nice. Noticed your baggage door is still a void. I’m on my second hatch door in two days (a friends rear curbside and my water/p...

Re: Looking for an Avion/Cayo C11

I’m a 16 year old and my parents and I are hoping to find an Avion for me to restore to travel in and possibly live in. How cool is that? I hate to say it but you just missed one in San Antonio a month or so ago, it went for $1,600... I should’ve bought it just knowing someone would come along, but...

Re: my opinion, for what it's worth

I fear I may end up being one of your cringe-inducing refurb guys. I acquired my ‘66 T27 late in 2019 while it was on the middle of a re-build by the previous owner. I am doing the best I can with what I have, including a decidedly non-vintage layout. Fortunately it will work really well for us wit...

Re: Help identifying an Avion

Thanks for your replies... When I say the price is right, it's pretty much mine for the taking. I have to haul it off the property, but I have the truck and know-how for that. I also have a friend with a flatbed. He could haul it for me if it won't roll easily. But I am sure I can get it to roll in...

Re: my opinion, for what it's worth

I’ve seen some absolute travesties of “done up” trailers. Even more a shame when done to the beautiful woodwork of Avions. One of the worst was a late 60’s Avion that was mostly periwinkle with cerise portions and gaudy gloss gold hardware. The staging was a train wreck of cowgirl/shabby sheik and d...

Re: Help identifying an Avion

Finally, that chair touching the trailer is giving me anxiety.

Re: Help identifying an Avion

Also looks like they did a weird box conversion/adapter thing on the forward ceiling vent To accommodate today’s 14” vent covers. I’d be suspicious of that as a major leak factory.
