Re: Michigan
My 77 travelcader has what I assume to be the storm windows they are nothing more then acrylic (plexiglass) cut to size and attached with a two sided tape.
Original? No idea. But a good idea and they don't weigh much.

Bending PW can be bought to bend creating a 4' cylinder or an 8' cylinder. It comes in 1/8",1/4" and 3/8" thicknesses. A laminating glue was used, a variation of standard white glue. It was rolled onto each sheet then all sheets were clamped to the form. 2 hrs later it's a solid panel...

Re: Get certified
Maybe the dealers should be offering a short course. Something to give a newbie some real confidence as opposed to the 'don't worry honey this is easy'. Worst I've seen was a 32 footer being hooked up to a suburban with a WD hitch. Once hooked up, the trailer and vehicle severely down at the hitch t...

There are a few members here that are going to disagree with me. Here goes. A truck driver, bus driver etc all have CDL licenses. Why is Joe Blow allowed to tow a 25 to 35 foot trailer weighing from 5 to 15 thousand lbs on a regular license? With maybe a truck that underwent a cursory inspection las...
