time to say hello
I'm having a dreary January. sorry to complain to those who live in colder climates, but we are used to going camping all winter here in southern NM. All our favorite campgrounds are closed due to Covid. There is still some disbursed camping available, but I think full timers and snowbirds take up a...

Re: I need some guidance please!
Probably so. Now that it’s sorted out, I wonder about the best way to replace the wire. My temporary job has the wire running down towards the floor under the couch and then along the wall behind the table and furnace cabinet and into the outlet box. I wish I could get it behind the wall more like t...

Re: I need some guidance please!
I will have to get more wire, what I used is 14/2. As far as the dead wire, I tested by separating all the wires at the three outlets. Multimeter tested for the hot wires at the last working outlet location. Then attached the length of new wire to the hot wire (line) and the other end to one of the ...

with so much appreciation to your help, I have the gfi outlet wired properly and have power in all the rest of the outlets. I used the 'jumper' wire, about 20' behind the couch. it is 12 I think, (possibly 14?) have to double check. had to go to 2 stores to find it, cause stock was low. If I need a ...

Re: I need some guidance please!
I was able to determine both load and line wires to the last live outlet have 118-119 volts. and no miracle healing to the other dead outlets overnight. I was able to see one more outlet by looking up into the interior of the refrigerator compartment. It has the fridge plugged into it. I can't reall...

Re: I need some guidance please!
Talked to Mr Cayo this morning. He said the trailer should have a simple daisy chain all the way around. So the load wire must go to the left. So I guess we need to test the last outlet that works, and go from there. Then thinking about where the wires might run, according to videos and photos I’ve ...
