rock guard extruded aluminum
I would like to buy( or obtain a link to) the extruded aluminum that held 1984 (and others) rock guards on a rail. Mine has five pieces of aluminum holding it in place.

Russ

Re: 1984 30R tires, wheels, and hubcaps
I liked what nralifer had done to his W. I really like this trailer and it is very solid. So we decided to make it better than new on the under carriage. I forgot to tell you earlier, I also put new shocks on. I did not change out the brakes. They were in very good shape. When I did the bearings I s...

Re: 1984 30R tires, wheels, and hubcaps
KYAvion. it is coming along well. I redid the tail lights to LED doubles. No backup lights in the fixtures. Changed all interior lights to LEDs I installed the Dexter Axle (K71-359-00) Heavy Duty Suspension Kit = All new Wet bolts, Bronze Bushing, Equalizers, Shackle Link Assemblys. Cleaned and repa...

1984 30R tires, wheels, and hubcaps
I have five steel wheels, five tires that are aired up, and six hubcaps from my 1984 30R available. I came home to north central Ohio from South Dakota on these tires/wheels last fall. I have changed to 16 inch Sendel T03 wheels and Michelin LTX M/S2 LT225/75R16/E 115/112R tires. The wheels, tires, ...

Re: Solar panels
Please do not connect solar panels to the 12 volt wire at the refrigerator. A charge controller is needed to regulate the voltage to the batteries.

Re: Mini Split air conditioner
Thanks for the link. I had read it some time ago. The Air Stream guys seem to be wanting to throw more money than usual at this change in system. I have seen videos of two systems and write ups of several more that use household systems. The cost is good for air conditioning and the heat pump functi...

Re: Mini Split air conditioner
The mini splits are extremely quiet. No inside noise.
They are also very efficient in using very few watts to start or operate.
They will run without effort on a Honda 2000 or 800 or 900 watts of solar.

Russ

Re: Mini Split air conditioner
The air conditioner has failed or at least I think it has. No blowing cold.
The fan was to fill the hole and move some air.

Russ

Mini Split air conditioner
I am considering the following and would like some comments. Pull existing air conditioner and put a top end Fan-Tastic Vent fan in the hole. Install a 12,000 BTU mini split air conditioner on the tongue and put the inside unit on the cabinets where the radio , etc are. Move the batteries to under t...
