Re: Belly pans
You might check a local heat/air business and see if they will sell you some sheets. One just down the road from me quoted me a good price (I don’t remember exactly). Just haven’t pulled the trigger.

Re: ISO Rock Guard for Avion 30P
Paul, is it fiberglass or ABS? The '88 I looked at in Tyler had the newer rock guard, I just assumed it was ABS. Felt like it. I could be quite mistaken tho Pretty positive it is solid fiberglass. The back side of it makes it evident. I will try to find a picture of the back side.... I know I have ...

Re: Belly pans
I think the pan on my 1987 34W is galvanized sheet, like A/C ductwork is made of.
I would have to guess the thickness.... .025”?? Just a guess.

Re: New a/c unit
I bet you can replace it, unless you are totally mechanically DEclined. The A/C is a 2-piece unit that makes a sandwich between the upper and lower parts, with the ceiling in between. Usually, all it takes is: Remove the outer cover and the inner cover..... both are held on with screws. The inside h...

Re: ISO Rock Guard for Avion 30P
Ron, I see that you and I posted at just about the same time..... I want to comment on our rock guard: it is the newer style..... thicker, appearing to be all fiberglass, and ribbed horizontally which seems to add strength and makes it look nice. I count myself fortunate that the original owner repl...

Re: ISO Rock Guard for Avion 30P
I am going to ask a guy at church, who does fiberglass repair, if he has the capability to make these things.... could use mine as a pattern. Made the inquiry: my friend is more into fiberglass repair as compared to fiberglass manufacturing. However, he pointed me to a local manufacturer that can m...

Re: Thoughts on colors for belt-line stripe on 90 30P
I would have to look, but I think those lower stripes were added in 1989, maybe 1988? I know the 1987’s did not have them.

The “bad condition” measuring stick is reasonable.

Re: two trips planned now!
About towing in town: try to familiarize yourself with the route as much as you can. Maybe even use the street view to see the surroundings?
Otherwise, be careful, go slow, and don’t worry if other drivers get impatient..... most are ok.
