Re: I need some guidance please!

I am sorry to be so little help in information and so clueless about what I’m trying to understand. I really appreciate the help, however I could be missing something so obvious, it’s embarrassing. I hate being ignorant of things.

Re: I need some guidance please!

I have an owner’s manual, although the 25H is not in the 1985 owners manual, as it was a late introduction. It is a generic diagram that shows the power line going counter clockwise. The order of outlets beginning at converter is: 1, plug on separate circuit labeled microwave, working. 2. Plug over ...

Re: I need some guidance please!

No, that is why I reluctantly opened the outlet that had power to it. It had 119 volts. But the next outlet had nothing but 5. Or so volts. Yu6ht56

Re: I need some guidance please!

I’m sort of at a dead end. The black to black and white to white at both the GFI in the bathroom and the non working outlet before it are wired together. The outlets following those on the chain have a little juice, about 5 v. One black wire coming from the last working outlet also has about 5 v. Th...

Re: I need some guidance please!

Yes! I’m just eliminating outlets and making a continuous unbroken line of power from the last working outlet to the first one with no wiring errors. If I get power on one down the line, it also checks for breaks in the wires, so means no breaks in the wires either. We so seldom use shore power, I’m...

Re: I need some guidance please!

And the gfi is in the mix because it was mentioned that as a weak link, it could be part of the problem. Now I don’t think it is...or was! Now that I’ve scrambled those wires, it’s another thing to sort out!

Re: I need some guidance please!

It appears to be on the same circuit as the other outlets. I can take pictures tomorrow. If it were on a separate circuit, wouldn’t it still have power? But it is 2nd of 4 outlets in a line that are not working. The ones that are working are the first 3 along the line. Yes the gfi is in the bathroom...

Re: I need some guidance please!

I'm encouraged that I actually understand what you're talking about! I got another GFI outlet that accommodates the heavy gauge wires used in the Avion wiring. I got that on with little trouble, but realized I had no idea which was load and which was line. (after I understood about load and line wir...

Re: I need some guidance please!

there is no hot wires going to the outlet that quit working. the last outlet that is hot is the outlet in the front of the trailer on the door side, second in the row of outlets. I'm not counting the microwave as it does have it's own breaker. now I'm really puzzled. I'm guessing I need to look at t...

Re: I need some guidance please!

Multi meter was in our truck, which was at the shop. I have it now! I am going to buy that receptacle tester today. We were testing for juice with a small lamp. The heater was plugged into the outlet above the furnace cabinet. The gfci outlet was next in line, then the two bedroom outlets. Those are...
