For Sale- not mine

https://austin.craigslist.org/rvs/d/lib ... 11762.html

This is definitely a project trailer but the price is great at $2,500.
It’s located a little over an hour from me. If I didn’t have this durned airstream project staring at me I’d be towing it home...

Re: Looking for rear left (shower) inside skin

The trailer I purchased this week was missing the inner skin for the rear left corner, or the corner with the shower in it. I have my doubts as to whether or not I’ll be able to locate one, so does anyone have any ideas on options I might have? It wouldn’t be too hard to fabricate that wall section...

Re: Opinions on resealing trailer top

Justin, In order to add an AC you will certainly have to cut a hole as it looks like you lack one. I am almost certain that the trailer was built for the installation of an AC in that there should be a pair of ribs about 14" apart just forward of the middle of the coach. You could tell by inter...

Re: Front window material

Hey Justin, The curved (as well as the rest) windows on my '78 are tempered glass. I didn't realize they came stock as acrylic. Try vintagetrailergaskets.com for your gasket needs. The owner is super helpful and knowledgeable in that area. Him and I spent a good deal of time on the phone trying to f...

Re: Wood blocks?

That’s pretty clever.
I’ll have to take a look tomorrow and see if I have the same brackets.

Thanks for the info Web.

Re: Wood blocks?

I have no clue about the chain and just learned about the jack accessory from you earlier today. I carry several pieces of wood for a few reasons: - 2x12 @ 6’ for a leveling base, a makeshift work bench or even a quick bike jump for my kids. Pressure treated. - 6x6x12 for my tongue jack. It’s kind o...

Re: Rock Guard for front window: 1970 Voyaguer 26 Ultra

Do you have any pics of your ultra?
There is one for sale in NM and I’m wondering if it’s the same one?

The ad seems kind of sketchy...

You’re thinking of Chuck Cayo at Cayo RV.

Rumor was he has one awhile back but he lost his mold in a fire and can’t make more.
No website, no email. Unlikely to return voice mail. Once you get him on the line however, he’s a great dude willing to help.

I would be really nervous to Not have the rock guard. Those curved wing windows are as precious as unicorn laughs. That said, finding a rock guard will be of the needle in a haystack variety. However, you do have options, 1) make one: https://www.airforums.com/forums/f454/build-your-own-rock-guard-y...
