I don't know how many members here are on the facebook Avion owners page. I'm a member of that group, but I really wish this more private, easier to search group was more active! Anyway, I finally finished reupholstering our couch, covering the valances and speaker screens. floor is done and new dra...

Re: ripples and stuff

Had a great Mobil RV repair guy come out. he loves Avions, has restored and worked on them, silver streaks, silver streams and air streams. He had it all fixed in half an hour and charges was very reasonable. he al...

We finally got to take the Avion out for a decent camping trip. We went to the Mt. Graham area in AZ. we camped in a disbursed area called Stockton Pass in the lower elevations on the south side of Mr. Graham. the area was pretty, high desert with some trees. and really uneven roads. we were able to...

Re: Another hobby of mine

so beautiful! I can almost smell the fresh turned soil! here in NM the winds have been so awful, the air is filled with dust some days. when it settles, we can put plants out. that is a big garden!

a new tow vehicle

Our trusty 04 Ford F150 had developed a habit of something going wrong every trip. I suspect electrical, but after 6 months of codes, check engine lights, service engine lights and limping home from every trip, we ran out of patience. the repair bills were sure adding up! the replacement is a 2014 s...

a baby brother (or sister?)

I happened to see a really nice little (14') trailer for sale. nothing special, just in great condition and affordable. It's a baja edition, so perfect for our bad dirt road, tight spot camping. To spare the Avion from such dubious attempts. Problem is, the Avion is SO much more comfortable we still...

Re: time to say hello

I'm not trying to be critical, just curious. anyone else part of the facebook avion group? I go there sometimes. but I prefer this one. I'm not real comfortable with facebook as a general concept, and also the format isn't very easy to research from information in past posts, or maybe I'm not famili...
