Yes, they are sealed batteries. No venting.

Re: Venting 34XB batteries

If you want four batteries in the XB, use the normal sliding battery tray for two on the road side. Then place two matching batteries in the door side compartment adjacent to the battery compartment. If you are worried about battery off gassing, you could easily vent the door side compartment. Note:...

Re: New Avion owner only 10 days

Hey Eric, My wife and I had a 1990 34XB for several years. The XB is a very comfortable Avion. I am inserting a link to the best solar panel installation I have seen. I am coping the install of the panels on our 30R. This week I am working on installing four AGM batteries, fuses, and two solar contr...

Re: Mini Split air conditioner

Rostam, you are correct unless the batteries are vented.

However, we have decided to go with four Crown 6CRV220 batteries. They are AGM and require no venting.

Re: Tankless water heater

Moby, This is the best tankless set up I have ever seen. http://www.tompatterson.com/Silverstreak/phpbb3x/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=335&p=1158&hilit=tankless+water+heater#p1158 I am planning on something like this, but not this actual brand. The brand is cheap in cost and has bad reviews. I wi...

Irma shelter

If you are running from Irma out of Florida, we will offer a place to stop and rest. We are in North Central Ohio. We have room for a couple of Avions and their owners for a few days. We have water and could rig some electric if you need it. There is no cost. Just trying to help other Avion owners B...

Re: 12V fans for the back side of the fridge

Hey nralifer, I am assuming that you are installing the fans at the top of the chimney behind the refrigerator. They would then pull the air up and exhaust it through the vent on the roof. I am planning on the same. I looked at my refrigerator just now and there is only room for one fan to blow over...

Re: Quality

Hey nralifer, We now have a 1984 30R. We are working on it to make it our own. We are actually happy with the build quality of the overall trailer. However, our 1990 34 XB was a far superior trailer. The cabinets were vastly better and of higher quality. The lighting and outlets was much better. We ...

Re: rock guard extruded aluminum

Thanks for the picture. If someone finds a link to the drip rail and the extruded piece I would like that information. My 1984 30R had two rock guards. I have removed the rear window guard and have five of the short pieces. I would like to find some more, either from an old throw away rock guard or ...
