Re: Help finding truck

Thanks Overdrive,

I use SearchTempest to search the Craigslists in that area. The price is really not the factor but rather being able to inspect the truck to see if it is really as nice as the owner says it is.

Best regards,

Russ

Re: Help finding truck

Yes, I am looking for a 2004, 2005, or 2006 Dodge 3500 Cummins extended cab long bed. We actually have a 2005 but it is showing some rust and has 235,000 miles.

Best regards,

Russ

Re: 1984 30R tires, wheels, and hubcaps

Yes, I still have the hubcaps. I think there are six plus wheels and tires if you want them. I am at 43019 in North Central Ohio. About an hour north east of Columbus.

If you are coming thru you can boondock here for the night/nights. We are a Boondockerswelcome.com host.

Re: Farm Sitter Wanted

Thank you.

I will post pictures when I get the solar panels installed. That will happen in the spring. I have everything here to do the job, but the weather is not my friend right now.

Best regards,

Re: Help finding truck

Well, found a possible truck in Pahrump, Nevada. If anyone on the list is near there, I would be happy to pay you to take a test drive.

Help finding truck

I am looking in Arizona and Southern California for a 2005 Dodge 3500 to pull our 30R. Is there anyone on the list that would be willing to view an actual truck and tell me IF it is really rust free? I found our exact truck in Tucson with a few less miles but do not feel comfortable buying without l...

Re: Tank heaters and insulation

KYAvion, Lynne will look for a picture, but don't hold your breath. I do not think there is one. What she did was afix four thin wooden strips around the window with SS screws. Then place the clear plastic on the strips with a double sided tape. Then use a hair dryer or heat gun to stretch the plast...

Re: Tank heaters and insulation

KYAvion, storm windows or wrapping the windows on the inside works great. We spent two winters in North Central Ohio (down to -15) in the skirted 34 XB shown in the pictures. Lynne attached wooden strips around the windows and then used a clear shrink wrap made for the purpose. If anyone actually wa...

Re: Venting 34XB batteries

I think they actually last a little less with normal usage. But since they are no maintenance, they may last longer. A lot of users fail to add water when needed. Mine have a good Magnum charger keeping them charged. I also have two meters showing their state of charge.
