Re: Tow vehicles

I had a similar situation a few years back. I initially had a 6.7 crew cab Dodge (2014) to tow my 30P. It was too much truck as they say, and honestly I agree - even with light tow bars it still slapped the trailer a lot (dishes on the floor kinda thing). If I towed a lot out West I might have kept ...

Home Teaching Office in the Avion

I haven't posted in awhile, but I am making good use of the Avion. Its been my home office now since March and I am out here about 9 hours a day teaching my students remotely. Its worked out pretty well and I enjoy keeping work out of the real house at least. I use all the nice features such as frid...

Re: nothing new

I am not sure about classy, but it was only $25 on eBay. I had a bad balance pot that I had to hot wire around. It sounds fine for what it is. :D

Re: nothing new

All hooked up and not going anywhere..... Its been a long several weeks, but since I have all but converted the Avion to my home office I can say it has saved my sanity. It is nice to leave the house as part of a routine, and have a nice place to spend the day and get some work done. I finished up s...

Re: Belly pans

Looks great! That picture of the axles is with a thousand words on how that suspension design works. Glad you are able to get all this work done these days ... I am using my Avion every day in the driveway as my office and use the shower most days after I bike, but I haven’t tackled anything this am...

Re: Belly pans

I feel tired just looking at all that great work! The pictures are great and that helps me see the differences on our suspensions. Is that the Mor-Ryde design? I am gearing up to be more productive, but I have been working from home (teaching from the Avion actually) so I have been way busier during...

Re: Advice on Subfloor Replacement

That Is a big job, but doable. The staples are tough - but if you can try and pry them out from the outside depending on where you are. This can be possible, especially if you are removing / loosening the lower panels. If the wood is really rotten you can do the demo without that step, but might be ...

Just a little outdoor plumbing ..... plugged in for the duration

The population of my household is about to jump up by a few and we will all be hunkered down for the foreseeable future here in NC. Three of us can thankfully work from home and I have pressed the Avion into full-time service as my office and possible quarantine location when / if anyone gets sick. ...
