Re: Another hobby of mine
Nralifer, are those pictures of your yard/garden? If so it's HUGE! I do love to garden too, I have a minute yard and have not had too much luck growing veggies. I do have some ornamentals that are doing okay, actually they are very old plantings and could probably use some tlc. My yard is mostly FL ...

Re: Catagorizing Members and their Trailer Modes
Thanks for the reply..... then there are the early, early models, think the models before '69 had a different suspension than Mor-Ryde and those body types were quite different too. I guess this can just hang out here and if anyone thinks some of this could be incorporated then they can comment, but...

Re: Catagorizing Members and their Trailer Modes
Not sure why no one has contributed to this post.... perhaps people feel that the problems or issues are more common place across the board.... I would like to see it done though.... For example, just off the top of my head: * 195? - 1964? or earlier (pre-anodization); * after-anodizaion; 1965?-1970...

Re: Kool Seal
Just checking this post since I am still working on my roof, seems like forever..... I actually think, Nralifer, that the Eternabond all the way to the windows looks good, from your picture that is. It blends in well with the skin and almost looks like it belongs there. I did buy 4" Eternabond ...

Re: I have a question re:1966 Avion
This is a water filter of sorts..... There was another picture on a different FB group of Vintage Trailers and I asked the same question.

Re: 1987 34W - Brake/shock project
Hi Nralifer Looking at your posts again about brakes and shock replacement and I had a couple questions..... Do you think the brakes are compatible with older model Avions? Link says compatible with Dexter, which is also on the older Avions, so I am thinking yes, but wondered if you knew for sure. A...

Re: Kool Seal
Hi I have been working on my roof too. I am actually removing the KoolSeal from my roof. I have multiple layers on my roof. Some of the coating is from the original silver coating that was put on by factory, at least I think it is. Then I have some tarlike substance and finally the KoolSeal. The lay...

Catagorizing Members and their Trailer Modes
Hi There, hope you are all well... I wish I was not so password challenged or I would be on here more often! But there was an idea I wanted to run by all of you.... In interacting with other Avion Owners' on the FB Owners' Group, I discovered that there were a lot of 1968 and 1969 25' models out the...

Re: 1987 34W - Resealing the upper edge of the beltline
Sorry, I only seeing these posts now, have not been on here for a bit..... But it prompted me to ask, because I am still learning.... What is the differences between all the sealing products for these trailers? For e.g. Aluminum Gutterseal vs Parbond vs Tempro 635? I did read some of the description...

Re: Rallys or gettogethers.?
I am new to Vintage Trailers and Avions, but I am thinking about going to a Tin Can Tourist Open House in Feb 25th 2017, Brooksville, FL near Tampa. I am excited to see what other people have done and how they did it, whether for show or for functionality. Sure I want my trailer to look nice, but I ...
