Re: EVERBRITE
Well, I used a metal pan to put some in at a time instead of straight out of the can. I used a piece of t-shirt cloth folded up & totally saturated to apply it. I went from the top down, moved it over & went from the bottom to the top. I just read of a lady on the Facebook page who was very ...

Re: EVERBRITE
I learned from the first time around not to put Everbrite on plastics. It never dries & is always sticky. If you get it on, just with it off with xylene.

Re: EVERBRITE
I let it dry a few days before putting a second coat on. Took me a couple years to respond to this question! The Everbrite has held up very well, but I may put another coat on this summer and redo my door. I didn't get my door clean enough to my liking before coating it, so I want to do it over. Hop...

...and don't do it on a windy day (bugs and dust will stick to it) and don't do it in the sun if possible. Cooler weather is better.

Re: EVERBRITE
I have coated two Avions with Everbrite. A 30' and a 32'. I believe they each took a bit more than a quart to cover two coats. I sold the 30' to purchase the 32'. The first step is to clean the trailer exterior really well! I used a random orbit polisher with a grey very fine scotchbrite pad on it. ...

Re: Locked in
Well, we just had a problem with our lock. I never use the little lever lock, since I did get locked outside of my Airstream that had essentially the same lock. I figured the deadbolt was foolproof. Fortunately, we were on the outside of the trailer when the deadbolt decided to not work. After much ...

Door Stopper Rubber Fail Replacement
It seems like I have read about people searching for a new rubber gasket that fits inside the door stopper more than once! My husband & I went out searching for an easy replacement at Lowes and came up with this gasket. I'm sure it can be ordered online as well. Take the old one out with a screw...

Re: Hate The Gaudy Gold-Flecked Mirrors?
Somehow, some way, some of my pics are turned. But you get the gist. Any questions, just ask! This was a Christmas present for my son & daughter-in-law. We are traveling with them to the Keys, so this should come in handy for them. The things you do for your kids!
