I used them in June of 2018. They towed my 82 30P from North Carolina to North Texas. There were some challenges due to hurricane activity in North Carolina but other than that it went pretty much flawlessly. I know this isn't really a timely response to your inquiry but I'd certainly use them again.

Sorry for the delay Anyway, I snipped the hot, neutral, and ground wires from the old converter and removed it.
