Re: 1968 Avion for sale- full restoration
Would you consider a trade for another Avion? Ours is currently gutted with new frame, floors, plumbing, etc. My work situation changed for the better and I no longer have time to finish the restoration.

1978 Avion 34 - For Sale
Hi all, Below is a link to our 34' 1978 Avion travel trailer for sale in Southeast Louisiana. We bought and towed this trailer from Tupelo, Mississippi and the trailer was partially gutted. We finished the removal of the 1978-vintage stuff down to the bare frame, repaired and replaced a few rusty se...

Re: 9.7 Meter Triple Axle 1979 Avion Floor Rebuilding
Many thanks. When reflooring, has anyone thought to include or replace the lower layer of plywood with polywall? I'm thinking about reflooring with an initial 1/8" polywall, 1/8" hardboard with epoxy, insulation, then the top layer of plywood. The amount of rot I removed in the last couple...

Re: Summer of renovation
Hey gents - my fiancé and I are close behind each of you with our 1978 34 renovation. Our interior skins are out and I am removing floors next to inspect the entire frame and sure up some of the squishy spots in the floor. We bought our trailer already gutted so unfortunately we are going to have to...

Re: 9.7 Meter Triple Axle 1979 Avion Floor Rebuilding
I had an insulation business as my 2nd career. We sprayed a lot of foam insulation. The wall and ceiling cavities in your trailer (and mine) were sprayed with 2-part, closed cell, low expansion polyurethane foam. It provided the greatest R-value per inch and added structural stiffness for the side ...

Re: 9.7 Meter Triple Axle 1979 Avion Floor Rebuilding
Is there any reasoning behind leaving the legacy insulation in-place? I am at a similar stage with my 34' and found the insulation is in pretty good shape, and the old hard insulation seems to add to the rigidity of the walls. I am debating whether ripping everything out (old wiring and insulation),...
