I never found any. I installed the wire in a plastic conduit I found at lowes for cabinet lighting.

I would not recommend removing the wall covering if it is good shape. Painting it will give it the modern look and retain your sound dampening with vinyl type covering left in place.

Keep a watch on ebay. I purchased a new L-400 last month for $400 new in the original box. I lucked up and found a new in the package repair kit two weeks ago. Did you get any of the Avion parts produced?

I am looking for two of the plastic wire protectors in the cabinet hiding the under cabinet light wires. My 87 Avion has them in the upper cabinets over the twin beds.

I'm doing the same thing upgrading the vents. Any issues other than the square in a round slot? I will keep all the parts if someone is looking for OEM.
