Re: Furnace Replacement
I just removed mine altogether. Now I use a 1-2 Lasko space heaters. It works very well. 30 and below I need 2 but otherwise 1 suffices. Location varies obviously but it works for us in Texas.

Re: Help with Door and Lock Repair
Good ideas. For now, a 2x4 was my friend and it's closing at least. I will post some pics. I do plan on taking this to my local fab shop to see what magic they can do, they are the ones who really beefed up my frame. Had I not done that, I suspect the damage would have been much worse due to the roa...

Help with Door and Lock Repair
Sadly, the terrible, rough roads and construction of NM made me victim of the Avion door damage, causing it to swing open. Looks similar to this https://thepewterpalace.com/2020/07/23/deadbolts-and-avion-doors-a-perfect-marriage/comment-page-1/ Unsure exactly what happened but the interior door hand...

Filters for Ogden undersink Water Purifier
I have one of these under my sink but there is no filter. Does anyone know what filter this uses and more importantly, where to get one?
My records/searches show he following filters but I am unsure if they all are correct.

Looking for Window Gasket
I have a 72 La Grande and am looking for the window gaskets that run parallel to the body. Has anyone found a source for these? I called Chuck and he does not have them.

Re: Broken MorRyde Suspension, Experts needed
It's been a long time, my neighbor didn't have time so I had to find someone who I trusted could do the job. Found a great shop, they came out and temp welded it so I could drive it to their shop, dropped it off Tuesday, Should be a 2-3 weeks I am guessing based on their load. They are going to fix ...

Re: Broken MorRyde Suspension, Experts needed
Yes I saw that. MorRyde only makes the TO108-002 now, but interestingly the manufacturer was $50 less per spring, so I got it from them.

Re: Broken MorRyde Suspension, Experts needed
It's a 1972 La Grande. The rubber springs are intact but show wear, so I am replacing them as I mentioned. Below are some pics when I removed the 8 bolts on the block/spring cover. Once I jacked up the trailer on its frame, I could lower the axle and the bend straightened out. Thanks to the Big Man ...
