Re: just got a 87 34v...help!!!
Agreed. Sorry I was tired last night. Being away due 2 work really hurt my ability to complete repairs as my time is spent working or other issues with my disabled wife.
I still love Avion and don't plan on anything else.

Update: 6/28/2021 The on-going saga to hades... So where to begin... This rv, without a doubt, has been an ongoing issue into the bowels of hell. My family has continually railed at me to get the repairs complete so that I can remove it. The original purpose behind getting the unit (living in anothe...

Re: Vent Lid - 87 34V - Making from Fiberglass

Re: Vent Lid - 87 34V - Making from Fiberglass
So I decided that from the measurement on the original vent (1-1/8" deep) to go with this: American Metalcraft SQ1610-16” x 16” Square Pizza Pan (1" deep) Found on Amazon. After taxes $32. I didn't want to go with 2" as we don't have measurements on the top to make sure it'd close cor...

Re: Vent Lid - 87 34V - Making from Fiberglass
I'm still stunned over the SIMPLICITY of the baking pan. One thing about it, it'll never get hot enough to hurt it!!! Jeff, after I read your post I called my stepfather. He told me he had been working on the fiberglass mold and it broke into so many pieces he had just chunked it in the trash. When ...

Re: Ordered new "operators" for windows
Yeah, we're in the process of having to change 2-3 windows out. Operators are totally shot. HOWEVER, one of the big things a tech told me was to spray EVERYTHING before even trying to see if they work. I happen to be in Lowe's and seen a can of Garage Door Lubricant (GDL). I can't BEGIN to tell you ...
