Re: newbie avion A25 1968
We too have a '68 A-25. We purchased ours from the original owner, a grain farmer in central Illinois. who always kept it stored inside. As our luck would have it, the Avion stayed unused in that farmer's machine shed for over 43 years, until we purchased it. No rain, no sun. no varmites. We love it...

Battery Box Covers
'68 Battery Box Cover I got my "new-to-me" commercial vacuum former installed and setup today and couldn't wait to try something out. So this is my first proptype of the battery box cover I plan on producing. I will use this one to tighten up the dimensions of my mold for a perfect fit. I ...

Re: Mini Split air conditioner
I had posted videos of my mini-split install on the FB group "Avion Travel Trailer Owners Club" This forum will not let me post video to this site. If you go to that FB group and search for "mini-split last installment" you will able to view the four videos there. I tried to expl...

Re: Mini Split air conditioner
I installed a 12,000btu mini-split AC/HEAT PUMP in my '68 A 25th this spring. We were out 4 times this summer and two of those were in 95+ heat with high humidity. Worked better than I expected. And no noise.

Bearing Seals '68 A-25
Wanting to replace bearings and seals on our '68 A-25 as it has sat undistributed inside a farmers building since 1974. I have already determined that the outer bearing is a National A4 set and the inner is an A5 set. I cannot locate the seal as there is no number I can find on it. I have measured i...

Atwood water heater gas valve replacement
Water heater help!
Just got around to checking out the water heater on our new to us '69 A-25 and it's not working. The red dial on the gas valve will not turn to "pilot" even with help from a pair of pliers. Has any one replaced the valve one of these Atwood 6 gal heaters?
